The Boss drafting stool is a crowd favorite for a number of reasons, most importantly perhaps being its inexpensive price.  Roughly $75 gets you an ergonomic drafting stool by well known manufacturer Boss that has a contoured back to relieve back strain, pneumatic gas seat height adjustment, large 27 inch nylon base for increased stability, hooded double wheel casters, and a strong 20 inch diameter chrome foot.  Glides are optional in place of standard casters.

This chair isn’t half bad and for the price it’s likely a worthy competitor for the best cheap ergonomic drafting stool award.  You’d be hard pressed to find a better chair for the price, but if you do a little digging you just might find something a little bit better.  If you do happen to find a nicer drafting stool for a better price, drop us a line and let us know and we’ll do our best to review it in a timely fashion and share it with our growing audience.
